This workshop is designed for adults
- all levels of experience welcome including first time drawers
In the first half of this three hour workshop, participants will render a proportionate illustration of a building with graphite pencil. After the participants have completed a contour drawing, shading will be added.
In the second half of the workshop, participants will transfer their illustration onto a piece of 140 HP drawing paper. Using diluted and undiluted India ink and coloured acrylic ink with a nibbed pen and a paintbrush, participants will add the grey tones and shadows and a limited splash of colour. The white of the paper will be preserved for highlights. A choice of subjects to draw will be provided such as lighthouses, towers, stone buildings.
The workshop will run from 10:30am to 1:30pm The fee will be $40.

All Supplies Provided!
- (Included are images from which to draw, 3 artist quality pencils, 80 lb sketch paper, 140 HP drawing paper, India ink, acrylic ink, pen holder, nib, #2 round paint brush, water containers, gum eraser, 16 x 20 drawing board and sharpener)
